Wingate Campground at Dead Horse PointState Park provides campsites for RV’s, cars, and walk-in tent sites, together with an expanded water system and housing for four seasonal rangers. The design addresses the high desert plateau environment by dispersing campsites in a very low-density arrangement, preserving the few native cedar trees and shrubs as natural components of the site, and maximizing both privacy between campsites and views to the surrounding vistas.
