This role is the communication master between our team and our client’s team. A successful Senior Architectural Project Manager can take ownership of the full project lifecycle, mentor others in the process, and be the support system to make the team successful in the project execution. They coordinate all project efforts to ensure the project is a success for our team and our clients. They understand the project scope and what it will take to achieve our client’s vision.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Architecture Degree from Accredited Program.
  • 20+ Years of experience in Architectural Project Management.
  • Demonstrated capacity for successfully project management.
  • Demonstrated capacity for leadership of project teams.

Accountability and Expectations:

  • Accountability is to the Client, and the Project Team.
  • The Project Manager is accountable for the Scope, Schedule, and Fee alignment.
  • Ownership of client satisfaction as it relates to individual project success.
  • Ensure the most professional standards, practices, and business ethics are used on behalf of the firm.
  • Not to engage in work that you are not qualified to perform successfully.
  • Scope: Most complex projects of the largest magnitude.

Staff Responsibilities:

  • The expectation is that the Senior Project Manager will actively engage the architectural staff to pass along the knowledge and expertise to develop employee skills in project management.
  • May act in Practice Leader/Managing Partner role in their absence.
  • Actively participate in career growth to provide tools, knowledge, and opportunities to less experienced architectural associates.
  • Project Team Assignment
  • Partners with the Senior Architect and Senior Architect Associates to supervise the teams’ design and technical delivery.
  • Provide oversight of less experienced Project Managers.
  • Communication of Client expectations, changes, and alignment of scope, schedule, and fee.
  • Take ownership of their own personal development, career growth, and desire to improve skills related to their chosen career path.
