HR Generalist

Description

CRSA is actively seeking a Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner to manage all HR tasks for our Multi-Disciplinary Design firm from our Salt Lake City (Corporate) office, including recruiting & on-boarding, personnel management, labor compliance, employee development, benefits administration, and leave coordination. Our ideal candidate will make a signification contribution to our company culture and enjoy keeping up to date on best practices for HR. We are currently looking for a full time, salaried exempt hire, but would be open to exceptional candidates on a part-time basis. Pay range is $25- $30 per hour ($52,000-$62,400) depending on experience. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional looking for a career path in Human Resource leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

What type of person are we looking for? We need someone who is sociable, efficient, organized, and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the organization. The basic requirements include the following:

Minimum

  • 5 years Human Resource experience;  
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field  
  • Software Requirements:  
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Competency with Databases and ERP software
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to organize work, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience in: Labor Law, Employee Relations, Investigations, Harassment, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, Workplace Violence, DEI, Training, Recruiting & Hiring, Employee Development, Performance Management & Reviews, FMLA & ADA, Leave Management, etc.  

Preferred

  • PHR or CP certified
  • Expertise in Architectural / Engineering industry or professional services related practices

RESPONSIBILITIES

What would you do? Responsibilities will include the following examples:  

  • Ensure annual and three-month new hire reviews happen timely, constantly seeking ways to improve the process and supporting mentoring. Follow up on issues.
  • Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan. Update wages ranges annually.
  • Provide exceptional support to employees, interpretate policies & procedures, promote positive employee relations, and resolve benefits issues.
  • Coordinate employee leave and benefit issues.
  • Facilitate employee social activities.
  • Responsible for employee recruiting and hiring processes through partnership with supervisors.
  • Coordinate and track employee training, with potential to develop and deliver appropriate training topics.
  • Work with employees to develop personal growth plan to support their career development into leadership.
  • Responsible for employee disciplinary meetings and when necessary, partner with supervisors on performance improvement plans.
  • Conduct employee investigations and provide recommendations to supervisors.  Support communication between employee and supervisors to implement performance improvement and personal growth plans.
  • Manage employee termination communication and process, including COBRA & unemployment claims coordination with third party companies.
  • Employee records management; accurate and timely.
  • Occasional or regular other duties maybe requested, required, or assigned.
